My name is Jim, I'm a writer, critic, USMC vet, and all-around nerd, currently living in the DMV.

I dedicated my college education to learning how to analyze and write about media. I have written film reviews as a hobby for a few years and finally decided to put them out into the wider world. This is that space. I also have creative aspirations of my own and may in the future be posting some of my own creative works to this site as well.

I'm looking for employment at the moment so any opportunities for commissioned or freelance writing work will be taken seriously.
