Dear White People was... surprisingly approachable.

I was legitimately worried this would be a pretentious, condescending, preachy, bore. Luckily it's extremely self aware and manages not to sacrifice entertainment value for the core message. With witty dialogue, solid performances, and a willingness to tackle difficult conversations without attacking the audience, it makes for one razor sharp satire with a heart of gold. Don't let the title put you off, this is worth a watch.

8/10 Art imitates life.
