MIB: International was... better than expected.

It's no masterpiece, hell, it's not even what I'd consider good. But I didn't hate it, it kept me entertained for two hours.

This is largely due to costars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson exuding effortless charm throughout, as well as continuing to demonstrate the great chemistry they displayed in their Marvel roles. Kumail Nanjani deserves a mention as well for being consistently hilarious despite the trailers attempts to ruin most of his best lines.

The movie doesn't really have much personality, everything has that high budget sheen too it that really sort of works against the idea of MIB as this secret government agency that's overworked and understaffed. The plot itself is forgettable and borrows from better stories heavily.

Really what carries this thing is the co-leads and some decent comedy that helps soften the rough edges of an otherwise thoroughly blasé experience.
