Spider-Man: Far From Home Review

This iteration of Spiderman continues to be excellent.

Tom Holland nails the charm of a young Peter Parker that's out of his depth, mourning the loss of his mentor and perpetually struggling with work-life balance. We get to see a lot more of Zendaya as MJ in this one and she makes the character her own with a more offbeat performance that complements Parker's own awkwardness well.

I think the writing really stands out in this film, the dialogue is consistently witty while also managing to navigate the complexities of a post-snap world and how that has affected these teenager's relationships. The set pieces are of course also magnificent particularly the finale.

Without getting into spoilers Spiderman once again has one of the better villains in the MCU to contend with and one that follows the themes of Keaton's Vulture closely.

I don't really have too many complaints about this film, it's well-paced, well written, well-acted, and competently shot and edited, an excellent addition to the MCU.

9/10 Tony Would be Proud
