The Martian Review

The Martian was...stellar!

For a movie that spans such a long period of time its ability to build and maintain tension was magnificent. Some truly fantastic dialogue helps to break up the tension when it starts to become overbearing as well. Damon does an excellent job balancing the characters desperate situation with his seemingly indomitable will to survive, he manages to balance the fear of death with the humor of life.

8/10 Thoughtful sci fi.
